Chennai Goldsmith and Jewellery

Located in the heritage belt of Little India, Singapore, Chennai Goldsmith and Jewellery specialises in retailing gold jewellery and ornaments that are trendy, contemporary and traditional to suit all occasions.

Chennai Goldsmith and Jewellery was incorporated on 27th February 2005 and started off with a humble 200 square feet shop front, located at Buffalo Road, Singapore.

The founder of Chennai Goldsmith, who worked his way up from a junior sales associate to a manager - strongly believed that the gold retail trade could take on a modern approach in order to retain a strong foothold in the market. 

With over 4 years of retail exposure from working with international lifestyle retail chains, he decided to re-enter the traditional gold retail trade.

With a year of careful planning and preparation, Chennai Goldsmith was conceptualised. Since its inception, sales for Chennai Goldsmith was able to yield healthy growth year after year.

In 2008, Chennai Goldsmith was relocated to a bigger outlet. Shortly after in 2013, the second outlet was set up within the same vicinity, targeting various customer demographics including locals and tourists.

Since 2015, Chennai Goldsmith & Jewellery Pte Ltd is a member of the Singapore Jewellers Association (SJA).

Mission, Vision and Values

We listen to our customers. We offer wide product selections and propositions to fit different customers’ budgets.

We have several senior staff with 20 to 40 years of experience in the trade. They are well respected and have established exceptional relationships with many regular local customers and their family members in the local Indian community.

We go the extra mile to ensure that we deliver a pleasant customer experience to preserve and build customer satisfaction.
